HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL
Complex waste streams need specialist hands.
Hazardous waste isn't just harder to manage it carries real regulatory, financial, and reputational risk if it's handled incorrectly. We're built for exactly this.
Environmental Green Group has been managing hazardous waste for over 30 years. That depth of experience matters when you're dealing with materials that require technical characterisation, strict handling protocols, ADR-compliant transport, and fully permitted disposal or recovery routes.
We work with manufacturers, engineering businesses, chemical operators, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites across the UK handling the waste streams that demand more than a standard collection service.

The Environmental Green Group Process
How we manage your hazardous waste.
Step 1: Characterisation
We don't make assumptions about your waste. We characterise it properly applying technical analysis to understand its chemical composition, classification, and the safest, most compliant management route.
Step 2 : Documentation
All hazardous waste movements are fully documented in line with Environment Agency requirements. Consignment notes, waste transfer documentation, and digital tracking records are produced as standard giving you a complete, auditable paper trail.
Step 3: Collection & ADR Transport
Our fully certified fleet and qualified dangerous goods safety advisors transport hazardous materials in compliance with ADR regulations. Every vehicle, every load, every journey compliant and documented.
Step 4: Treatment & Disposal
We route each waste stream to the most appropriate licensed facility recovery where possible, permitted disposal where necessary. We favour circular outcomes: blending to fuel, solvent recovery, materials reprocessing. Landfill is a last resort, not a default.
Step 5 : Reporting
You receive full documentation of how your waste was managed, including your monthly Carbon Handprint Certificate showing the verified circular outcome of your hazardous waste programme.
Compliance & Accreditations
Fully permitted. Fully accountable.
Environmental Green Group holds full Environment Agency environmental permits for hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal. We are ISO 9001 certified, ADR compliant, and operate in full accordance with UK health and safety legislation and the Hazardous Waste (England and Wales) Regulations.
From October 2026, Digital Waste Tracking (DWT) becomes mandatory for all waste movements in the UK. Our client portal is already DWT-native meaning your hazardous waste documentation is automatically tracked and reported, with no administrative burden on your team.
The Cost of Getting It Wrong
Non-compliance isn't just a fine. It's a business risk.
Incorrectly classified hazardous waste. Missing consignment notes. An untrained driver moving dangerous goods without ADR documentation. These aren't abstract risks they're the kinds of failures that result in Environment Agency investigations, HSE notices, and significant financial penalties.
With Landfill Tax at £130.75 per tonne, the incentive to cut corners on waste disposal has never been higher. So has the cost of being caught doing it. Environmental Green Group's role is to make sure your business is insulated from that risk, with a waste management partner who gets it right every time.
